Mountaineering Club "Kindja" , according the tradition, organized "Orienteering Cup Kikinda 2011."
Start and finish were located in the former youth-work-actions settlement and checkpoints were in the greenery around the sports complex and the sports hall "Jezero" (The Lake).
So far, the contestants compete in categories pioneers, juniors, seniors and veterans, both for male & female.
This year was the first time organized a competition for athletes with special needs, which our hosts were extremely satisfied with. To the invitation of Mountaineers in this category responded only members of the KSO "Feniks", divided into three teams.
The course was short compared to other categories, to the extent of this type of competitors.
The winning team was Feniks 2 with members: Anđelov jr., Marić & Zavišin.
President of the society "Kinđa", Mr. Basara, declared the winners and in particulary welcomed the engagement of the Feniks in this contest. There followed an invitation to the next orienteering Cup in Vršac. This interesting event was followed by socializing in the cozy company of mountaineers and the good old "soldier's" beans.
