OKI "Feniks" Kikinda - News

Championship of the R.Srpska in sitting volleyball
3rd round, December 8th, 2013
City sporthall, Laktaši

Strong match, experienced and dangerous opponent, but the one on our level and the fight until the last point.

Again the small sporthall in Laktaši was the place where we were fighting for points, although this Sporthall is much better known for it's big hall and some other sport.

After the 12th Banja Luka Open we slept in Laktaši and the next day, December 8th, we played remaining game of the First league of R.Srpska. Planned date of the match, on the day before our stay in Prijedor has been canceled, and was subsequently tied to the mentioned tournament in Banja Luka.

Strong match, experienced and dangerous opponent, but the one on our level and the fight until the last point. After a 101 minute of the match we ended it up with a defeat by the final score of:

Laktaši OKI : OKI Feniks 3:1 (24:26, 26:24, 25:21, 25:21).

Thus was made a closed circuit on top of the table among the teams of Borac, Feniks and Laktaši. These three teams have the same number of points in the end of the fall, and by the set ratio Feniks is seated in the second position.

When you lose a game closely like this one, then you are looking for the shade that prevailed. Was is the fatigue from the previous day, or loud music from a wedding party breaking through the walls of the inn untill late night, or it was something else? We started this game great, the resume was not worse, but the miss a bit of luck at the end of the second set and the end was not satisfactory. In general, we missed a nice opportunity to hive off our competitors for the top posotion. In the second set did't win a set-ball. That one would made another set and a certain point of our lead in the standings. On the other hand, it is good that no one has escaped us and that we have a slightly better situation compared to the same rapper from last year.

For OKI Feniks in Laktaši played:

Đuričin, Brandić, Golijanin, Vlajkov, Setorić, Dragan, Milošev, Budurin and Zavišin.
Coach: Dragin

The weekend with related events caused the linking of the newspaper news. Avoiding to repeat them I set up an excerpt from the "cyrillic" edition here and from the "latin" edition in our previous news.
