Competition in our group required matches versust objectively the strongest and the weakest possible opponent in the tournament. We were in a group with the host KSO Iskra and OKI Panda from V.Kladuša and in the other group were placed Breza, Laktaši and Šibenik. As we got into the field without several players from the setup and the coach - the result did not disappointed anyone.
We were welcomed by a traffic jam caused by school finish ceremony and student's ceremonial parade along reconstructed and beautified streets of Bugojno. Of course, the hosts immediately tried to pull us out of this to some more beautiful and obscure place. It was full of breathtaking nature, somehow in the direction that leads to Tito's villa, just a few kilometers from the city,a cottage in a countryside and friendly atmosphere with a gurgle of a pure, cold water from the spring which emerges only 10 meters from the house. Intermittent rain did not manage to spoil the mood of the teams that were gathered there, the discussions began, were renewed old friendships. It's good to be among friends, in a place where you felt good. When you add to that a bid kebabs in white bread (somun), homemade cheese and all that goes with it, then you do not have any other choice but to enjoy. But each of us all had to be moderate in all this because of the next morning's competition.
Opening Ceremony of the 5th Tournament "The Days of Bugojno" began with anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was continued with welcome of dignitaries, and than followed by cultural and artistic program and awarding gifts to the tournament participants. Feniks captain responded with gifts that are featuring Kikinda town square and utina owls, provided by the Municipality of Kikinda and Terra Gallery.

The first game immediately after the opening ceremony was ours against OKI "Panda" from V.Kladuša. We have never competed with that team. I would not say that it was during a game of ups and downs, but it was carelessness and errors caused by insufficient knowledge of the players next to yourself, because in such a setting we have not played before, as well. Basically we were the team that dictated the game and after initial testing of powers we were sure in our win. The first set we were superior, but a series of mentioned errors occurred at the end of the second set. Instead of safely finish the game then, after our lead of 23:21, we were forced to fight for victory in the deciding third set.

KSO Iskra, is ending championship one of these days in last place of the Premier League, as a rookie. They are explaining that by the decline of few players and after few losses their moral felt, too. Nonetheless, they are in training, coordinated in the season they played in only strong games, because in that league there are simply no weak opponents! And we, in this part, no matter how much we fought against such opponents, we can achievethe the victory only through the pen of the brothers Grimm ... Before we turned around the first set was ugly past away. The hosts did not felt sorry for us, (and it should not be expected). In the second set we showed a good resistance. If there happened to be that both sets were like this one, we would be satisfied with it. Thus, we could not make a lot, but it could be a lot more.
Perhaps you will determine exactly the opposite when you compare this with the result of the final game. We will honor it, you can always have your own opinion.

In this game, we managed to get the maximum out of our current composition. For Budurin and Setorić these were the first chance to play all games in tournament. I would like to commend their hard work and ingenuity, however, their motion and the technique still has some certain problems. Generally speaking, both were very well in this composition, but Laktaši are a solid team and they did not allow a surprise.
KSO "Iskra" - OKI "Breza" 3:1 (25:7, 27:25, 20:25, 25:18)
Safe play and deserved win of hosts. Coach of Iskra had much "longer bench", filled with players which he can count on, but with some high quality individual players. A lot of things we can still learn from these guys.
Mr. Bare commented entire game for the audience in the hall, and so the match got quite a different tone. However, "aliens from Bugojno, KSO Iskra won Breza, by 3:1, ... and match is refereeing by the main referee, the famous Orhan, Oki, and ...er...by the main referee (...what's the name?...) the famous Jasmin, Jasko." "Congraaaats Iskra".
